På en majestætisk og smukt anlagt plads rykker vi ind med 300 kilometer snore og håndlavede snorereb i alverdens farver. Fra den 14. aug. og frem forvandler pladsen sig til et monumentalt værk af snore kastet og trukket i et virvar af farvespor svævende over pladsen. Et organisk værk, som udvikler sig dag for dag under hele festivalen, og som skabes af publikum.

Du kan betragte strukturen på afstand som en farvestrålende installation. Du kan trække snore, lave nye forbindelser og forvandle værket. Og du kan endda klatre op i de største håndlavede snorereb imellem træerne, tage en svingtur og lade dig omslutte af den kalejdoskopiske jungle af snore.

Billedkunstner Karoline H. Larsen ophæver skellet mellem kunst og leg og mellem tilskuer og kunstner. Hun forvandler og iscenesætter byrummet sammen med de besøgende og genindsætter muligheden for leg og kreativitet i byen.

We move into a majestic and beautifully landscaped place with 300 kilometres of string and handmade string-rope in all colours. From 14 August the place transforms into a monumental work of strings pulled between the trees. An anarchistic work which develops gradually day by day during the festival, ultimately created by its visitors.

From a distance you see the structure as a colourful installation, but you can also pull the strings, make new connections and transform the work. You can even climb into the installation and let yourself envelop by the kaleidoscopic jungle of strings.

Visual artist Karoline H. Larsen eradicates the distinction between art and game, and between spectator and artist. She transforms and stages urban space together with the visitors and reinstates the opportunity for playfulness and creativity in the city.
