Bring at least one yarn ball/roll of string.
Tie one end of the string on an object.
Go with the string in your hand and go around the next object.
Pull, roll, braid, throw, track the string between more objects.
Try how many different ways you can (pull, throw, crawl, lift, spin etc.) string between objects and other string.
Continue until the string runs out, or use an object to file/cut/burn the string.
Tie the end of the string on one last subject.
Lay down/sit down/stand up – Feel your body pulse, heartbeat
Look at the new space which has arisen.
ALONE, TOGETHER, STRANGER?
You can make String Track alone, or make it Collective Strings together with a friend,
or you invite a stranger or more people who pass by you,
Say aloud, while you throw the roll with string towards the passing stranger:
‘Are you with?…. Catch it! ”
String Track was published at MinimalPortal(now Oplysningskontoret.dk) HERE
String Track became Collective Strings, e.g. Collective Strings in New York City
